A Sweet Summer Wedding Look

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I spent mine at the beach and at the most beautiful wedding! The couple got married in Paris and then held their reception back home with friends and family - I mean if that's not serious goals right there then I don't know what is. Just beautiful and I can only hope my wedding someday is just as dreamy!

I thought it would be fun to keep it short and sweet this Monday and share what I wore to the wedding reception Saturday night! I found out last minute that I was even going to be able to make it, so finding something to wear was nothing short of a scramble. Finding dresses and formal wear has always been a tad bit difficult for me because of my petite frame. It's hard to get it just right as everything is either just a bit too large or a bit too long. Needless to say when my online dress order came in and was beautiful but just not right in the fit, I was in a panic.

Leave it to Anthropologie to save the day! I strolled right on in and had a ton of great options and ultimately picked the jumpsuit (yes, jumpsuit not dress!) that I'm wearing above. It is one of the most beautiful prints, is so flattering on, and is honestly the most comfortable piece of clothing for a night out - and for dancing! I loved it for all those reasons, but also because it is so versatile and a piece I will get many more uses out of. It was the perfect dress for the occasion, but will also be so cute with a jean jacket and flats. Nothing better than investing in a piece you can wear time and time again.

As always, I've linked all the pieces of the look below. Trust me, this is something you want in your closet. If you're ever found to be in a crunch like me with nothing to wear, I promise you this will save the day!

  1. Why should one go loaded in glitters and pearls on weddings. This summer dress is so chic and yet it is so classy. Definitely a look to try in summer weddings. Love the lipstick shade, it is complimenting your dress.
