A New Favorite Candle for Spring

I am a creature of habit when it comes to candle scents - I'm a little bit picky, know what I like, and have my seasonal favorites that I rotate in & out throughout the year. However, I am not opposed to introducing something new, and when I find a new scent that I love, you can bet it's coming home with me. 

Spring '23 Preview

To get myself through these last dreadful days of winter, I've put together a little sampling of all the pieces catching my eye for spring. Without fail, by this time of year, I am in the biggest wardrobe rut. Officially over winter and all the pieces that have kept me warm all season, I find myself looking forward to better weather and the shift in clothing that accompanies it. Maybe it's because it is officially spring, or because the weather has been anything but seasonal lately, but regardless I have been drawn to all the bright colors! This is quite the one-eighty from my nyc winter uniform - IYKYK - and a welcomed change! 

A Spring Closet Refresh

 

I don't know about you, but I am so over the current contents of my closet. Anyone else? I think what it actually comes down to is that I bored with my winter wardrobe - I am ready to pack it away & say farewell until next year. I am antsy and growing impatient for spring weather to arrive for good! It has made an appearance or two - either to give us a preview of what's coming or to just tease us, unsure of which - but regardless I was very much smitten!

It's been a minute since I've done one of these posts, but we're back baby! The months that toe the line between two seasons are some of my favorites to curate wishlists for. It always gets me so excited for the upcoming season and for all the styles & fashion that accompany them. May is one of those months for me - it isn't technically summer, but summer is most certainly in the air - the anticipation is palpable!

We are quickly approaching summer weather, which means time to prep our wardrobes with all the breezy dresses, cheeky swim, and fun summer accessories. This is truly my favorite season to shop & dress for so I am thrilled. At this point, it is no surprise that this summer is likely going to look quite different than past summers, so I think our approach to shopping should be different too.

June Wishlist!

How are we already a week into June!? When did that happen! The past month has been a busy one, with a lot of fun travel (more to come on that!) After ten days out on the west coast, I am happy to be back in my favorite city and settling back into the swing of things! Summer is right around the corner and it is definitely starting to feel like that around here! I cannot wait.

Happy April! I know I'm a little behind in getting this post up, but better late than never! I am so excited that it is finally April and we are officially past any lingering winter days. At this point in this season it feels like summer isn't that far off!

The Best Swimwear of 2019

We are quickly approaching summer, which means it's just about beach season (!!!). If you couldn't tell, I can hardly wait any longer. Although it doesn't feel anywhere close to beach weather in New England, now really is the time to stock up on swim! The truth is, if you wait to buy your swimwear until it is actually warm enough to wear a bathing suit, you will likely be picking through whatever hasn't sold out already and desperately searching for your size.

Happy Friday! Hope this week was a good one - with the arrival of spring how could it not be!? I am so excited for the change of seasons, especially in the wardrobe department. Spring represents renewal, newness, and freshness, and I think our wardrobe should reflect that. After a long winter some fresh, new pieces for spring are welcomed with open arms!

March Wishlist!

Hi friends, happy Friday! Hope you all had a good week and are welcoming the weekend with open arms. I am currently writing you from Miami International Airport, which sadly means that I'm heading home after such a great week in the Florida sunshine! I had a wonderful few days soaking up all the warm weather - it was just what I needed to get me through the rest of winter, which I am hoping is not much longer!

I'm crossing my fingers that I'll bring some warm weather back to NYC! Wouldn't we all love a little bit of that!? I am dying to break out some spring pieces. I got a little taste of it in Miami, but I am ready to ditch my winter wear for good. Spring has officially hit all the major retailers and it's about time it hits our own personal wardrobes! The Essentials You Need from the Shopbop Sale

It's safe to say that out of all the sales that happen all year long, the Shopbop sales are my favorite! In my opinion they are the best out there. Shopbop is one of my favorite retailers, so it's no surprise that their sale ranks at the top of my list. Their selection is top notch & some of my favorite pieces in my closet are those I have gotten through Shopbop (and often during a Shopbop sale!).

Every year, this is one of my favorite posts to craft! By this time of year I am jonesing for a warm weather getaway & of course the wardrobe that accompanies it! Every time I peruse the new arrivals section of my favorite retailers, I can't help but be drawn to all the resort pieces. The bright colors, flowy fabrics, and rattan details have me swooning!

I am hoping to be heading down south for some much needed sunshine and warm weather in the next few weeks & all this resort wear is giving me so much inspo. My suitcase will be full of all the warm weather things and I cannot wait. I'm so ready for bathing suits and sundresses.. now all I need is a tan! Who wants to join me!?
