Hello October!

Hello America, I'm back!!

What a whirlwind of a month it has been. I cannot even begin to wrap my head around the fact that September has come and gone and that my trip is over. As happy as I am to see you October, I am definitely a little bit sad. It certainly is bittersweet to have such an amazing adventure and experience come to an end! However, I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things here at home, and especially excited to get caught up on some blogging!

As you know, I had every intention of posting blog posts with updates of each country while I was over in Europe. Little did I know this was easier said than done, as I was always so busy doing, seeing, or experiencing all that Europe had to offer! In all honesty at the end of the day I was exhausted, and any free time I had on the road I spent trying to catch up on sleep. Traveling is exhausting, let me tell you, but it is the best kind of exhaustion! On top of that, about two weeks into my trip I got completely locked out of my iPad, which is what I had been using to keep up with blog posts. Not the end of the world, but with only my iPhone left to use, I made the decision to just wait until I got back to the States to post anymore updates.

With that being said, I promise that more updates of my European adventure are on their way in the next couple weeks. Switzerland, Italy, the French Riviera, and Spain are all still to come - stay on the lookout! I am planning on incorporating the travel updates with normal blog content, and I cannot wait to share it with all of you. For now, I am sharing with you some things that have caught my eye for October. Enjoy and as always, thank you for following along!

Ballerina Leggings // I don't know about all of you, but this is definitely a trend I can get on board with! I'm obsessed. Ballet and ballerinas have always been such a representation of femininity and beauty - what little girl doesn't want to be a ballerina when they grow up!? Although this is not the reality for most of us, this trend is such a fun way to incorporate feminine touches into one's style. I know I sure am planning on it!

Pumpkin Bar Recipes // The second fall hits I am all about pumpkin flavored anything, but especially coffee and sweet treats. I came across these recipes before it was acceptable to be baking anything pumpkin related, but now that I'm back and it is officially fall, nothing is stopping me from trying them all! All ten recipes sound incredible - give them a try for yourself and let me know your favorite!

NYC in the Fall // Autumn is probably my favorite season in the city. It is the perfect time to visit as you are not sweating your way through the concrete jungle, but also don't have to bundle up! Not only that, but you are getting there just before the crazy crowds that show up around the holidays. If you are planning a trip to the city in the next couple months be sure to check out this list of things to do and places to see. I promise there is no shortage of things to do in the city during fall!
