Gifts for Him
Once again it is the men's gift guide that is the first of the season here on Faith & Fancy! And it is once again ironic as I have no brothers, brother in laws, or special men in my life I am shopping for this season, oh well! These gift guides aren't for my benefit anyways & men are notoriously the hardest to shop for so I am happy to get it up here quickly. I hope that it helps you shop for the men in your life this holiday season. Truth be told I wish I was shopping for a Mr. this year, as I think these gifts are all really great!!

I'm Running a Marathon!
I'm running a marathon!!
After many years of waiting, I can't believe I finally get to say that I am doing it! And not just any marathon, but the 50th New York City Marathon. I get to run through the streets of the city I call home, that I love more than anything else, and I get to do it with friends and family on the sidelines. It is truly going to be so special. I'm so excited it is finally happening, I think I could shout it from the rooftops!
If you know me well, or if you've been following along here on Faith & Fancy for a while, then you know that this has been a huge bucket list item for me for many years now. I ran my first 13.1 back in 2014, and many more half marathons were run in the years that followed. Although I can't pinpoint exactly when I decided I wanted to go for the full 26.2, it was at some-point between the years of 2014 and 2016. On June 2, 2016 I published this post - 101 in 1001 - a list of 101 things I wanted to accomplish in 1001 days. Running a marathon was on the top of the list.

May Wishlist
It's been a minute since I've done one of these posts, but we're back baby! The months that toe the line between two seasons are some of my favorites to curate wishlists for. It always gets me so excited for the upcoming season and for all the styles & fashion that accompany them. May is one of those months for me - it isn't technically summer, but summer is most certainly in the air - the anticipation is palpable!

The Edit: Sage Season
To be completely honest, I don't typically gravitate towards the color green, however the prettiest shade of sage has been popping up everywhere, and I'm suddenly kind of into it. Despite my past history of indifference to green, sage keeps stealing my attention - I have to admit, I'm here for it.
I'd be surprised if you yourself haven't noticed the uptick in sage green this season, but in the instance that you haven't, I curated a list of my favorites as of late. I guarantee you're going to see it everywhere from here on out. Apparently it's the hot color of the season! I'm going to embrace it, and let sage green have her moment of fame.

"I'm So Glad I... "
I've always tried my best to pack life to the brim and to live with a zest for life. The past days, weeks, and months have been nothing short of the biggest reminder of our lives to always keep doing just that.

For Lovers
Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and so a gift guide for lovers was in order! Of course a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a fancy assortment of chocolates, or a nice dinner are all classic and fail-proof gifts, but sometimes it's nice to switch it up. And we all know gifts for the men in our lives can often prove tricky, so I've also included some V-Day gift ideas for them too. I hope it helps!

A Farewell to 2020
Since the birth of Faith & Fancy, come the end of every year, I craft a post looking back and reflecting on the past twelve months. It has become a year end tradition I cherish quite a lot and one that I look forward to. I love everything these farewells represent - gratitude, reflection, closure - and they are collectively some of my favorite posts. Having this collection of paragraphs, sentences, and words that represent years gone by is so special - each year it is a gift I am giving my future self, and that future self will forever be grateful for them.
With that being said, as we started approaching the end of twenty twenty, I felt paralyzed & overwhelmed thinking back on all that this year threw at us. I felt like I had a million things to say, but at the same time I felt so depleted that I just didn't know if the words would ever come.
