Every year as we approach peak bridal season, I enjoy perusing the abundance of pieces that would make any bride to be swoon.

My Wishlist for Fall

At the beginning of every season, I like to do a roundup of all the new styles & pieces that are catching my eye. It not only gets me excited for the change in season, but it helps me take inventory of what styles I already have & which ones I want to add to my wardrobe. It's also helpful in setting the style tone for the next few months! 

Summer Whites

I'm not a total stickler for the rules - I definitely push the 'no white after Labor Day and before Memorial Day' rule - but when summer officially hits, I am full steam ahead with summer whites. Head to toe white is my vibe in the summer months. I am here for it.

To be completely honest, I don't typically gravitate towards the color green, however the prettiest shade of sage has been popping up everywhere, and I'm suddenly kind of into it. Despite my past history of indifference to green, sage keeps stealing my attention - I have to admit, I'm here for it. 

I'd be surprised if you yourself haven't noticed the uptick in sage green this season, but in the instance that you haven't, I curated a list of my favorites as of late. I guarantee you're going to see it everywhere from here on out. Apparently it's the hot color of the season! I'm going to embrace it, and let sage green have her moment of fame. 

Summer Handbag Edit

It goes without saying that everything is better in the summer - handbags included! During the rest of the year, I find myself pretty loyal to one or two handbags, but come the summer months I have quite a few bags in rotation. What can I say, I'm drawn to all the styles, textures, and details of these summer bags!

On my Eye for April

Truth be told, I have felt torn over the last month about what is appropriate to post here on Faith & Fancy in the current wake of this crisis. So much of what I share on here is lighthearted, fun, and hopefully inspirational, but also so much of what I share is so frivolous. Lighthearted, fun, and inspirational are things I think we all need right now, but I have struggled when it has come down to sharing things that just seem so unimportant.

The Shopbop sales are truly some of the best on the web. In my opinion, they are the perfect opportunity to stock up on staples, purchase something that's been catching your eye, or treat yourself to that splurge worthy item.

Shopbop is a huge online retailer, and of course it can be overwhelming trying to figure out what to purchase from the sale - there are just so many amazing pieces! Of course there are many ways to attack the sale, but I think it's best to purchase items that will help build your wardrobe - ie. great denim, classic basics, a pair of shoes you'll have for years to come.

Again, trying to sift through the thousands of items can be daunting, so I decided to round up some of my favorite pieces from the sale. The sale ends tomorrow, so get shopping! Enjoy!

Resort 2020

One of my favorite posts to shop for & create this time of year is my resort wear guide! It is such a fun one to curate pieces for as I'm always itching for (and scheming) a warm weather getaway come February. Resort wear is one of my favorite collections of clothing - the colors, the patterns, the breeziness of it all always has me swooning. I think the memories that these styles evoke - warm weather, cocktails in hand, laid back moments - might be part of the love affair. Ahh it gets me excited just thinking about it.

July Wishlist!

Almost halfway through July, but better late than never! My July wishlist highlights all the things I am gravitating to in the heart of summer. Lots of light, flowy pieces, an airy color palette, and tons of neutral accessories to pull it all together. Easy and breezy - without sacrificing style - just as summer should be! 

The Essentials You Need from the Shopbop Sale

It's safe to say that out of all the sales that happen all year long, the Shopbop sales are my favorite! In my opinion they are the best out there. Shopbop is one of my favorite retailers, so it's no surprise that their sale ranks at the top of my list. Their selection is top notch & some of my favorite pieces in my closet are those I have gotten through Shopbop (and often during a Shopbop sale!).

Loungewear Favorites

This time of year always, without fail makes me just want to cozy up indoors while wearing my favorite loungewear. Anyone else!? After the hustle and bustle of the holidays, a little R&R in January is much welcomed and needed!

My Picks from Shopbop's Event of the Season Sale

It can't not be a happy Wednesday when Shopbop's Event of the Season Sale goes live! It truly is one of the best sales of the year and is going on for four days... aka plenty of time to find your favorites, place an order, and probably repeat that process again (you know it's true!). I know I say that about what probably seems like every sale, but if I had to pick, the Shopbop sales are definitely my favorite. There is just such a great selection of pieces from all your favorite brands, for various price points and it's (almost) all on sale! You really can't beat it.

Summertime Wishlist

Happy first day of summer! ... I had to say it! If you're anything like me, you've been living your life as if summer has already been here for the last few weeks, but with it's official arrival I still had to welcome it back!

To celebrate it's arrival, I wanted to share some of my must haves for summer & the things that have made their way to my ever-evolving (and lengthening!) wishlist. Give me all the pretty prints, breezy dresses, and must have summer accessories! I mean is this bag to die for or what!

F&F Swimwear Guide 2018!

Guys, it's that time of year again.. swimwear season! Call me crazy, but now is the time to update your swim pieces in preparation for summer and any tropical getaways that might be coming up. Even if you don't anticipate needing a swimsuit any time soon, I highly recommend taking at least a glance at the new swim arrivals of your favorite retailer. Chances are you will find something that catches your eye, and if you don't scoop it up now, I guarantee it will be gone before the warm weather even gets here. No bueno. Better to get it now and have it ready for the first few beach days of the season!

Not to mention, shopping for & finding the perfect bathing suit is hard work. I know all you ladies can relate. Getting your hands on a cute bathing suit is one thing, but finding one that fits and is flattering to your body type is a whole other story. I've already ordered two suits (this one & this one) this season and ended up exchanging them both for different sizes - side note: size up with both of those suits! I now have them both in the right size, but am still not sold on if they are the right suit for me. This swimwear thing is a process! Again, better to do it now & not have to deal with it later on. 

I am guilty of doing a lot of perusing of the swim sections lately and have rounded up some of my favorites! There are a lot of amazing swimwear pieces out there this season, both one & two pieces. My goal of the season is to find the perfect one piece for me - wish me luck!
