Almond Butter Energy Bites






Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready to take on the week. I don't know about you all, but I am ready to get back on track after indulging in all the yummy food and drinks this weekend. It's all about balance right!? That has always been my thought, eat healthy most days but don't be afraid to indulge a little here and there - gotta live your life too!    With that being said, I wanted to share a yummy recipe that's on the healthier side and is super easy to make! It's the perfect pre/post workout snack, or anytime you're looking for a treat. They are so delicious! Check out the recipe below, give them a try, and enjoy. I promise they will quickly become a favorite! 
Almond Butter Energy Bites
1 cup finely shredded coconut 
1 cup almond butter
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup raw honey 
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons chia seeds
3 drops orange essential oils (optional)

Place all ingredients into mixer except for half cup shredded coconut.
Mix until well combined.
Roll into balls and coat in other half cup of shredded coconut. 
Store in refrigerator and enjoy!
