Red Lips for the Holidays

 

Happy Monday all! Today I'm sharing one of my favorite things.. a killer red lip! I've said it before and I'll say it again, there is nothing quite like a bold red. It is a classic symbol of beauty, confidence, and femininity. Every lady out there should have a good red lipstick in their makeup arsenal! 

Over the years I've accumulated quite the selection of my favorite red lipsticks - they are my definite go-tos when looking for the perfect shade of red! Although I have my tried and true favorites, I am still always looking for new shades to add to my collection. I was recently introduced to the luxe lip color collection by Bobbi Brown and knew I had to give it a try! 

With the holiday season just about upon us, I picked up a couple new holiday reds that would be perfect for achieving the perfect red lip this Christmas. This time of year I gravitate towards both a deep rich red and a more of a brighter red for my lip color. With close to fifty different shades in the luxe lip collection, I knew I would have no problem finding exactly what I was looking for. 

I ended up going with Red Velvet for my deep red and with Imperial Red for my bright red. Both are beautiful bold shades that glide on so easy and stay on - can't beat it.
