December 01, 2016

Hello December!

How is it already December!? This year has absolutely flown by - I cannot believe that in one month 2016 will be over and we will be onto a fresh, new year. Twenty-seventeen will be here in no time! However, I intend to enjoy and not rush through the next month. December first really officially marks the Holiday season being upon us, and it truly is one of the most wonderful times of the year. It is a month filled with so much love, joy, and giving - it's hard not to be happy. I hope you take the time to enjoy this holiday season, spend quality time with family and friends, and never forget what the holiday season means to you!

Wishing you all a happy holiday season. Enjoy!

McGee and Co. Holiday // I discovered Studio McGee about a year ago and was immediately attracted to the bright and clean aesthetic of their designs. I'm seriously obsessed. If I could sign up now for them design my future home, I absolutely would. Lucky for me, since that probably won't every happen, they have a design shop, so I can bring that same aesthetic to my own home. Since it is the holiday season, I wanted to share their special holiday shop that they released last month. I am loving this gold & white trayhobnail pitchermercury glass ornaments, and faux holly. Not only are these great things to add to your own collection, but they would make the perfect gifts!!

Burberry // Does this not seem like a trailer for an amazing movie!? I'm sad to report it isn't but still such a creative ad looking back at the history of Burberry's founding. Such a great cast and amazing cinematography - how fun would it be to work on an ad like this? I'll just have to keep imagining up my own ending for how this 'movie' would end if it were up to me!

Christmas Traditions // I love these classic Christmas traditions. I think it is easy to get wrapped up in the consumerism of the season, and forget about the simple things that make the holiday season so special. I am all about classic traditions, so I loved finding this list of Christmas ones. They're all great but my favorites are baking from scratch, mailing holiday cards, and of course dressing up! Do you have any timeless Christmas traditions that you follow? I'd love to hear!
