Another wonderful summer weekend come and gone. Is it me or are these weeks just flying by! Slow down summer, you're going to fast! So far this summer has been nothing short of amazing, and I'm sure the second half of the summer will be just as good, if not better. I am looking forward to all that is in store and still to come!
For the most part, this weekend was spent poolside enjoying the company of family and friends - relaxation and happiness at it's best! Nothing beats spending hot summer days by the water and living in a swimsuit. I have been reaching for this adorable Kate Spade bikini on the regular lately, thanks to this wonderful July weather we've been having here in New England (!). If someone designed a swimsuit just for me, I think this one would be it! The scalloped trim, puckered dots, and bow have my name written all over it, and the pink.. well that just sealed the deal. It just doesn't get any cuter!
Of course, no swimsuit is complete without the perfect cover up and let me tell you about this one. The truth is..this is actually not a beach cover up but instead just a regular linen button-up turned into beachwear. Shh, don't tell! I was attracted to it in the store but decided it was just too oversized for me to pull off in my day to day wear. However, the airy coastal charm it gave off made it too good to put back and I decided it was coming home with me as a beach cover up! I am so glad I snagged it when I did, because I have seriously been living in it this summer.
I hope that wherever you are this summer, you are able to spend some time outdoors and more importantly by the water.
