Say Hey to Summer

It's officially summer - yay! I could not be happier to see the arrival of my favorite season and although I've been in summertime mode for quite a few weeks now, I still can't help but get excited. The official arrival of summer gets me thinking of all the fun things I want to do and places I want to visit before the season is over. I hate even saying this, but the end of summer always rolls around much faster than any of us would like, so I want to take advantage of all these summer days while they are here!

With that being said, I thought it would be fun to share with you all what is on my summer bucket list. I am hoping that by writing these all down I will hold myself accountable and actually do them, and I hope that by sharing them with you, some of you might just join in on the fun! Check them all out below and be sure to share what's on your summer bucket list. I would love ot hear!

1. Many beach days spent at Watch Hill. It's one of my all time favorite beaches and I will take any opportunity I can to go.

2. A day trip to Block Island. For those of you not familiar, Block Island is a tiny island off the coast of Rhode Island - and a super popular destination in the summer! Surprisingly a place I have never been and am really interested in checking out!

3. Weekly trips to the local farmers market. There is a farmers market right on my town green every Thursday in the summer and I really want to take advantage of it this summer!

4. Fireworks! Because it just wouldn't be summer without them.

5. A trip the the Veueve Cliquot Secret Garden at the Ocean House in Watch Hill. This one might just go hand in hand with number 1 on the list!

6. Sign up and train for another fall half marathon! Fall is the best season for running in a half marathon and although hot, summer is a great time to train for one. Picking a half marathon now will keep me motivated throughout the summer to stay in shape and get running

7. A long weekend trip anywhere. I say anywhere because there are so many places on my list of ones to visit for a long weekend and I'd be happy with any of them. Chicago, Charleston, and Cape Cod are just a few on the list!

Hope you've enjoyed! What's on your summer bucket list?
