Friday Finds No. 19

Hi friends, happy Friday!! It's an absolutely beautiful one here in Connecticut - I hope you are soaking up the sunshine and warm weather! It feels like summer, and this girl is very happy. The weather is looking pretty great for the weekend as well (!!). I hope you have some fun plans to make the most of it. I have a relaxing weekend in store, which I am welcoming with open arms after a very busy past weekend, but I am definitely planning on spending much of it outside. As always, I hope you have a fabulous Friday and an even better weekend. Enjoy!

WEEKEND READING

The Derek I Know // As I'm sure you all know, last weekend they retired Derek Jeter's famous New York Yankee number. A historic moment for not only Yankee fans, but for baseball fans everywhere. As a kid growing up, I would watch the Yankees play with my father, and Jeter quickly became my favorite. He has remained my favorite athlete and watching his final game a few years ago, and now the retirement of his number will be moments I vividly remember for rest of my life. Of course with such a historic moment, came many articles, videos, and the like that reflected back on Jeter's life and career. All of the articles I read and videos I watched were great, but this article may have been my favorite. Written by Hannah Jeter, Derek's wife, it provided a different perspective than others I had seen. Definitely worth the read - go check it out!

Champagne Garden // Watch Hill, The Ocean House, and Champagne ... a few of my favorite things! If you're not familiar with Watch Hill, R.I.  go check out this post I did last summer - it is one of my absolutely favorite places and is the home to the stunning Ocean House. Truth be told, I have actually never been to or stayed at the Ocean House (it's on my bucket list) but I think this new champagne garden might just get me there! Definitely adding checking it out to my summer to do list!!

Goop @ Nordstrom // PSA: Gwenyth Paltrow's Goop line will be at Nordstrom this month as a pop-up shop! The Goop line focuses on wellness of both mind and body, something I'm sure everyone could work on a little bit more. The pop-up shops will only be at select Nordstrom store, so check it out and see if it will be yours. For those of us who won't have the opportunity to shop in-store, the shop is available online! There are also six weeks of different wellness guides online that range from travel to fitness and centering yourself to eating clean. Definitely a good resource to check out! Enjoy and happy shopping!
