Dressing Up Chambray for Fall

Happy Monday all! I dont' know about you but I am feeling the effects of a busy, but super fun, weekend. I'm gonna need all the coffee to get me through today. I hope you all had wonderful weekends as well and are ready for a fresh new week! 

As much as I am loving this little extension of summer here in New England, I am definitely ready for those fall temps to move on in! I have so many new fall pieces that I am dying to wear, but the weather doesn't seem to want to allow that anytime soon. On the plus side of that, I am having fun coming up with looks that still feel like fall, but that won't have you dying in temps over seventy-five. 

A few weeks back I picked up this chambray dress from Zara, and little did I know how perfect it would be for these warmer weeks in September. It's easy to pair with a pair of sandals or heels, but can easily be styled for fall with a felt hat and leopard flats - both essentials for fall in my book! A dress is a perfect transitional piece going from summer to fall, and the chambray is so versatile. 

Throwing on a felt hat definitely gives that fall feel to any outfit, and is again a piece that can be styled with so many different looks. I have such a little peanut head, so it can be hard to find hats that are flattering and that I don't completely drown in. I was thrilled when I came across this felt hat with a velvet trim - it is a beauty and is so flattering on!  I've definitely become a new found lover of hats and I have my eye on quite a few other pretties.
