Friday Finds No. 24

Here we are again friends, thank goodness and happy Friday! I hope you all survived the week and have something good in store for the weekend. I am looking forward to some down time with loved ones - sometimes that's all we need. I hope your weekend leaves you feeling refreshed, restored, and inspired. Enjoy!

FRIDAY FINDS

"You can venture out into experiences without the crutch of other people, not because you feel lonely or isolated, but because it generates a new kind of experience."
So. Much. Yes.
I am such a firm believer in the power of being comfortable being alone - in whatever experience that may be.
For me, I had this opportunity when I decided to travel around Europe for a month with not a soul I knew. I was surrounded by a group of other people, yes, but being surrounded by a thrown into a group of stranger versus people you know requires a certain kind of courage.
Doing that trip by myself was the best decision I could have ever made.
You can read more about my experience here

"So, if you want the future you dream of wanting, just keep moving. Keep staying open to possibility. Keep expecting curveballs and side steps. And know that you have everything within to deal with it. And trust that it will all make sense in hindsight. The dots will connect. They always do. And when you look back, you can see for youself they always have."

Forewarning: Reading this will cause an instant case of wanderlust.
Can't say you weren't warned!
So many amazing destinations on this list - including quite a few in the States!
What's on your travel wish list for 2018?? I'll be sharing mine here on Faith & Fancy next week - stay tuned!

SHOPING FINDS

Can we just stop and talk for a second about how my rediscovery of Old Navy might have been the higlight of this year so far. I mean, how did I not know how good all of their stuff was!? Amazing to say the least. Old Navy has always been a go-to for basics, but I am so impressed with how in-style and on trend so many of their pieces are - and at a price that doesn't break the bank.

Needless to say I added quite a few pieces (see below!) to my shopping bag immediately. You go Old Navy!

Happy Weekend!
