As far as a summer wardrobe goes, a cover up is always close to the top of my essentials list! As the name suggests it can serve simply as a way to cover up at the beach or pool, but really the options are endless. The versatility of these pieces is what makes them so great. Beach cover ups can easily become casual lunch dresses when paired with a straw Panama hat, summer sunnies, and easy slides. Conversely, pieces that aren't technically cover ups can easily be thrown over a suit. An oversized linen button down is exactly that for me, and quite honestly is my favorite kind of cover up. Easy & breezy, linen is a cool way to cover up, and a button down silhouette feels timeless and put together.
