Mascara Favorites

Is it me or is there just nothing better than a fresh tube of mascara!? It's just one of those small, simple pleasures of life, especially when it's one of your favorites. Speaking of, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite mascaras - yes, I have more than one favorite! If someone asked me to pick a favorite mascara, I would struggle because there are quite a few I rotate through or use simultaneously. Mascara is hands-down my go-to, must have, can't live without makeup product, so I am always on the hunt for the best of the best.

Over the course of that search for the best, I have found quite a few really good ones. Clinique has been my go-to makeup brand for as long as I can remember, and their High Impact Extreme Volume mascara quickly became a favorite. I love how slender the brush is, so you can really coat every lash. It's a simple brush but it provides all the volume and drama. So good! Another favorite is Too Faced Better than Sex mascara. I've been using it pretty consistently for about the past year and it has yet to disappoint. I've shared it before on the blog and here it is again, so you know it's a good one!  And last but not least (for now) is the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume mascara. This one is a newer find, but I am already confident it will be making a consistent appearance in my make-up bag. I mentioned it recently in this post and at the time I was just using a sample I had been given, but I loved it so much I had to go out and get the full size. It creates major drama and volume, and I'm all about that!

As I'm sure you've picked up on, I love big, bold lashes with tons of volume and all three of these give me just that! If you are into a similar look, I promise these will not disappoint. There have been times when I have been asked if I'm wearing fake lashes, and the answer is always no. The secret is just really good, tried and true mascaras. If you don't believe me, just go give it these a try for yourself!
