Must Do's in Lisbon, Portugal

It's been almost two years since my trip to Lisbon, so it's about time I got around to sharing some tidbits from my trip! I'm embarrassed it has taken me so long, but today's post was born in the spirit of staying on track with my goals and feeling inspired to revisit past travels. Lisbon was a marvelous city to explore, and I couldn't think of a better place to kick off the first of many travel posts to come. I hope you are just as excited as I am - stay tuned!

The inability to travel right now is heartbreaking to say the least, but it has given me an even greater appreciation than I already had for the trips I've taken, places I've seen, and cities that have stolen my heart. My wanderlust is fueling my desire to look back to all the places I've been and to share them with all of you, which right now I'm acknowledging as a blessing in disguise. I hope this post and all the ones to come serve as a bit of inspiration and as a glimmer of hope until we can explore the world again, together.

Must Do's in Lisbon

Spend a morning at the São Jorge Castle

Take a ride on the Tram - no. 28 is best for a tour of the city!

Eat a Pastel de Nata (or many!)

Find all the beautiful tiles on display throughout the city

Have a meal or two at Time Out Market

Check out the National Tile Museum for a good indoor activity

Try Vinho Verde - yes green wine!

Take a day trip to Sintra, Portugal - be sure to explore the Palacio de Pena
& the Castelo dos Mouros

Buy local pottery to take back home

Grab a drink at a rooftop bar for beautiful, sweeping views of the city
