If there ever were a time to be supporting small businesses, it is now. Over that past couple months, I have been trying to be mindful about who and what I am supporting, and where I am spending my money. Of course at a time like right now it would be easy to purchase things from our big go-to retailers, and although those companies still deserve support at this time, it doesn't feel right to me to only be supporting them. There are so many amazing small businesses who deserve our love & support much more right now, so I am making it my quarantine mission to shop small as often as I can.
It makes me feel better knowing I am doing a small part to support the businesses I love so much. They need our support more now than ever and it is truly the least we can do. I wanted to put together and share a collection of all my favorite small businesses & the ones that I am supporting during this difficult time. They are businesses I love, support, and admire not just now, but always, and it is my hopes that with our support they will still be going strong when better days roll back around.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Cuyana. Everything about this brand - from what they believe in to the quality of pieces they make - is admirable. I had only heard amazing things about Cuyana before experiencing them firsthand, and from my own experiences I can say that they live up to the hype. I am a loyal lover of Cuyana & always will be.
I first discovered Candlefish a few years ago on my first trip to Charleston. I bought a few candles to bring home with me & it's been a love affair ever since! They are my go-to for candles in general, but I love that by shopping them I am supporting a wonderful small business. Candlefish #53 is my forever favorite & will always remind me of Charleston and that very first trip.

While we are on the topic of pajamas, Eberjey started my pajama obsession a few years ago and their classic two piece set quickly became a staple in my rotation. Over the years I've turned both friends & family on to their amazingly soft PJs, but they also make beautiful lingerie and swim. All of the above are beautiful & classic pieces that deserve a whole lot of love.

Another candle studio I love but this one is located right here in my favorite city - right across the Brooklyn Bridge! Truth be told I've only ever purchased one of their candles - the Tuileries escapist candle - which quickly became a favorite scent & truly makes you feel like you've been transported to Paris. Although it is the only candle I have purchased, so many other scents sound incredible - I cannot wait to give them a try!

Shout out to another local New York small business - Hat Attack is located in the NYC borough of the Bronx and is dedicated to creating beautiful, thoughtfully designed hats & accessories. I own quite a few pieces from Hat Attack, and I'm always so impressed by both the quality and style. Their spring collections are full of pieces made from straw and natural materials & are always so swoon-worthy!
