My Go-To Winter Look

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I spent mine up in Boston and was loving every second of this mild weather we have had the past few days. Crazy how us New Englanders think 45 degrees is warm, but hey I'll take it over temps in the teens any day of the week. Days like these give me hope that there are brighter, warmer days on the horizon, and I for one cannot wait!

I wanted to pop on here today and share an outfit that has quickly become a go-to of mine as of late. I wore it this past weekend, and it was perfect for both strolling around Boston during the daytime hours and just as perfect for dinner & drinks as the night went on. I had been eyeing this beautiful cable knit turtleneck sweater since before the holidays, and finally decided to go for it. I knew that it's classic style and high quality would make it a staple in my wardrobe for years to come.

Paired with skinny denim or a ponte pant, this sweater makes for an easy & comfortable wintertime look, yet one that feels equally as put together. Adding a deep berry lip, helps add a pop of color to an otherwise neutral look, and paired with these fur lined mules adds a trendy element to a classic look. Although the temperatures may have risen a little bit this past weekend, I know winter will be sticking around for a bit longer.  However I also know that this outfit will continue to be an easy go-to to get me through till spring!
