On my Eye for April

Truth be told, I have felt torn over the last month about what is appropriate to post here on Faith & Fancy in the current wake of this crisis. So much of what I share on here is lighthearted, fun, and hopefully inspirational, but also so much of what I share is so frivolous. Lighthearted, fun, and inspirational are things I think we all need right now, but I have struggled when it has come down to sharing things that just seem so unimportant.

Over the past few weeks I've only shared a couple things - both being posts that I felt had purpose & inspiration behind them. Today's post however doesn't fall into either of those categories & is one I had shied away from sharing. It is lighthearted, fun, and certainly frivolous, but I am sharing it because of what it served me with ... distraction. Crafting this post cleared my mind of much heavier thoughts & worries and provided me with a distraction that I so very much needed. If it can serve you in the same way, then I have done a good job.

I'm realizing there is no right or wrong way to do things these days. We are all doing our best & just taking it day by day at this point. For now that will have to do. Hope you are all hanging in there, staying safe, and finding time to do things that bring you joy.

  1. You are so insightful sweetheart.. I agree with you though.. Sometimes I laugh at stupid things and then think.. I shouldn't laugh because of everything that is going on.. But we MUST remember to carry on with our lives and do what makes us happy and brings us joy. Laughter is an absolute NECESSITY in life and it is good for us.. So you just keep doing what your doing.. Bringing joy to yourself and others. And that is all we need to concern ourselves with... I love you... Love Aunty M
